Is it just me or was the whole Cessna over the Whitehouse thing have a silver lining? We're getting a ton of reports that it wasn't handled correctly by all involved. One military official said that the defense dept. "did everything wrong." Let's not forget that very startling piece of information as the media is picking at the bones of this flight instructor.
What if that really was a suicide bomber pilot. I think we'd be screwed. Maybe this incident will serve as a reminder to all involved. So, why don't we just write this off as a really big "fire drill" and move on?
Of course, on the cynical side... This guy just went and showed everyone in the world how easily this could happen.
But, in the scheme of things; it's not nearly as alarming as the fact that 1600 of our young Americans are not coming back from Iraq. Let's stay focused on them people. They're the ones who are volunteering to put their lives on the line.
